North Carolina has some very vague usury laws so I suggest you speak with an attorney or loan broker to stay within the legal limits without gray areas.

Moved to NC from NV to settle down near the extended family.  

Are standard real estate contracts in North Carolina and South Carolina able to be assignable?

Pam Missimer I'm also doing some deals in the triangle primarily the durham nc and Cary nc markets.

I will keep you in mind if we do ever decide to move up north, and you like wise if you think about NC. 

I introduced my friend at work to the podcast and he did the same with his friends in NY and now his friends are all flying to Charlotte, NC to identify some buy and hold opportunities (they obviously forgot to listen to podcasts where Josh warned listeners about investing with friends!).
