I suggest you do not allow that, since you probably are not set up to accept credit cards, since there is a fee to the merchant to accept a payment via credit card, and since the card holder can dispute a charge. 

My advice would be to go find the deal, lock it up via an option or loose purchase contract and then shop for the money.  

Worst case I can't see renting it for less then $600 that would shock me.3 Bedroom 1 Bath..This one fell into my lap but what are the best methods for finding more like this?

Although, most wholesale transactions tend to be houses in need of rehab, just because that creates a big motivation for the seller and/or can prevent them from being able to sell the property retail via a realtor.As for "using the house as collateral"... 

I also like the ease of receiving timely payments from the PHA via direct deposit, which lands in our bank account before rent is due. 

Most "wholesalers", especially here on BP aren't buyers and resellers (what I think wholesale actually means), but rather want to control property via contracts and minimal capital.
