You can take out of and put into a revocable Trust at will when you are the Trustee and it is yours.However, you are loosing the asset protection part of the Trust.

I would lean towards leveraging my investment property over my personal residence because of the interest right-off, but also because of the protection afforded a personal residence at least here in Kansas.
