As a homeowner, I would not want to carry my dirty laundry outdoors to a garage to clean them.  

I would like to continue using them without them falling under the employee umbrella.

I do have some contacts here locally for work, I got someone for paint work, got someone landscaping and any outdoor yard work, I know a handful of realtors, know someone for flooring.

It is like a mini central AC with separate outdoor small compressor and indoor wall mount evaporators, but the evap. mounts to the wall and recirculates/cools just that area in each "zone".

Do I need an additional umbrella policy to protect assets?

I realize that this is kind of a different issue, but is still, I think, under the umbrella of what you disclose and don't disclose. 

Because I enjoyed fixing up both houses, and added something like an outdoor shower and a patio etc.

The only problem is that when we do that, if you look at the photo of the back where that blue umbrella is, it's the bump out for the stairs, and the roofline would no longer cover it. 

What asset protection do you get with an LLC that isn't covered by an umbrella insurance policy?
