I'm applying to leave my active status this year and finish out in the reserves and go to school full time for business administration, operate my clothing line, as well as start my investing endeavors out in real estate focusing in Georgia, my home town. 

I'm 18 and about to graduate high school (I wanted to start the business young), so I don't have too much capital to work with at this time.

While my mentor is old school and shy's away from the deal I just recently did, I also know my goals verse his. 

I've been working as an IT guy in schools for the past 6ish years.

I took a wonderful set of courses at a local tech school that went over all the Tenant/Landlord laws in my state, and was taught by a lawyer.

Your oldest will also love UW it's a fantastic school, little large but you can definitely make it your home!

My goal is to be financially free by the time my oldest two graduate high school (5yrs). 

It was an arduous journey, a lot of sacrificing, but busting my butt working two jobs, school full time, while househacking finally paid off. 

I started right out of school also a few years ago after graduating ODU.  

I've done the basics (zillow, trulia, realtor) and I have gone old school (just listed cards).
