I'm a 30 year flooring contractor in Maryland trying to get started in real estate investing.

I've included a "before" picture - 2x4s screwed into the floor with porch lattice stapled on.

The unit was just rennovated, so cabinets/flooring/windows and other needs, won't be needed.

Physically in between the entrances to those is a stairwell that leads to 6 apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

You could always opt to put in ceramic tile or hard wood floors in place of carpet. 

I would do a quick paint job on some rooms to give it a better first appearance and refinish the hardwood floors.

I was thinking about replacing the vanity's, faucets, vinyl floor in kitchen/bathrooms and possible the toilets as these items were old when I bought. 

@Steve Babiak  Even though the garage floor is gravel I think you have a point.  

The house has a poured concrete foundation and basement with a concrete first floor.

If anyone one could either post or PM me suggestions and recommended vendors for specifically drywall repair, flooring (both carpet and kitchen/bath flooring),painting and electrical I would appreciate any input.
