I simply discussed our primary pool of high net worth investors, including myself, and also discussed our prior larger deals that we've closed this year so they know we are closers!

I’ve noticed the larger deals are from brokers and the smaller deals are listed by agents.  

It’s a larger city than Indiana and that’s a lot of people to sort through.

My initial choice was the Norfolk are because I'm familiar but there really isn't much growth in the area if your not right on the campus.Any advice?

I only discovered this when I bought a small old property on a huge lot and the property taxes were actually more than my much, much nicer, newer, larger, and more expensive personal home that was on a smaller lot.

My wife and I are ready to grow our investment portfolio on a larger scale.  

I was paying cash at first but soon realised I couldn't build my portfolio any larger without loans.

We have very few regulations regarding this process in our small town besides a party wall agreement and co insurance, but we have also done this in a larger city where they required a POA and some other legal legwork for the duplex so that if needed the units could be sold individually.  

I specialize on larger units (3+ bedrooms).

From there, I would like to scale up into larger multi family as my experience grows.
