I too have read this forum occasionally in regards to owning properties and dealing with rents as I deal with real estate and have family members who do as well.

So if you have money, or a good paying job, and want a place on the best lake, but don’t want to shovel snow, mow the lawn, or put the docks in and out, this is your ideal location.  

Start educating yourself on different asset classes within real estate and see what fits your long term investment goals.

really enjoy dealing in properties, especially the hunt for a fitting property.

But as you said, for someone who is active, there are deals that don't fit your criteria.

The market there is not ideal for any positive cash flow.

You want at least 150 amps but ideally, 200 amps for a modern house.

I've had several Morris Invest clients ask me to help unload their Morris Invest problem children but unfortunately, most of MI's stuff was in rough, low income areas that don't fit our criteria.
