This has worked out fantastic in my lower income multi units as it is cheaper ($3.99) than getting money orders for the tenants and a lot of these tenants do not have checking accounts or computers (to pay online).

@Marc Rice, I have had a small local to me credit union say they would do a desktop appraisal (non interior value) which worked well when I had a bit of renovation going on inside.

Hi folks,I'm not sure how common this is, but as I've been searching for my first house-hack in Minneapolis, MN, I've been taking all of the relevant MLS listings that are forwarded to me each day and then pasting the address into Zillow to view things like the Zestimate, # bed/bath, property taxes, comps, etc.As a computer science student, after a few weeks I started to think there might be an easier way to do this and began to look at Zillow's API.

I was loading photos to my post with no problem by just clicking the photo Icon, choosing a photo from my computer and clicking insert, now it just will not work.

I think training and education in the industry should come first and money SHOULD be spent on educating yourself.Yes you can get bits and pieces on the internet for free.. but you will never replicate a class room or one on one environment.. not all people can learn by just reading on the computer.
