There are challenges everywhere for different reasons -- weather, building codes, tenant culture, competitive market, high cost of labor. 

This is not for doxing him or slandering him.I rented a house from DJ, he was the middle man so I already know from several court documents he can't be found to be perso ally liable since he isn't on the lease or sale documents yet acted as the property management company and was my point of contact.He managed to convince me his company was very good to rent from we've only owned houses so I had to learn a lot of lessons in the 2 month time frame I stayed in thst cindemnable house.

So if someone is changing light bulbs out, that would be a different rate than fixing a running toilet or installing new blinds for example.

He would like to sell the property while minimizing his tax liability, which ideally would be an additional land contract to our company. 

The manager could be well-intended, and getting duped by a plumber, but that’s where an experienced hand makes a difference.

My brother and I will be renovating the property we live in so that after living there for a year we have the freedom to sell the property, refinance and use that equity for a down payment in a different market we're interested in, or rent it out if its able to cash flow.

Maybe you need to market it in a different place or places.

This may have no effect on you at all because the servicer (the company you mail checks to) may remain unchanged.
