The same would be for dealing drugs, and as someone mentioned, renting it out on AirBnB may be a risk as well.If everything checks out with the tenants and they have good guarantors, go for it.

Most tenants will simply understand bad things will happen if they break a lease and not try it in the first place.Another thing to consider is that drug dealers and prostitutes look for month to month rentals.

You only have yourself to blame if your tenant doesn't do the right thing, or maintain your property well.I meant with my agent who owns a property in the high class suburbs of Atlanta, and he seems to having if not the same, but more issues with his suburban tenants with drugs, headaches and disputes, then another individual would have on section 8.

I'd wait for them to come to me - if they ever did.And if they did, I'd say that I was really concerned about people dealing drugs on my property, or homeless people squatting there.
