The governor of Florida has banned STR till Phase 3, we are in the same situation.

While I don't have rentals in Maui, I do spend time in Hawaii annually to visit family, and can tell you the STR market was hit hard by the governor who recently created legislation to prohibit STRs under 30 days which really hurts the market.

We are under a no eviction status in Illinois per the governor.  

We have contacted the Governor’s office and are actively seeking guidance from the Department of Community Affairs.

Sections of Homewood that are West of Governor's Highway have traditionally been viewed as being a little less desirable since the houses in the area are farther from the walkable downtown/transit and that part of town has suffered from some minor blight over the years.

Conventions in the Orlando area are canceling left, right and center, because of the immigration laws just passed, because of the tension of the whole LGBTQ thing and whether you are a supporter of the present Governor or not, is really irrelevant to this, my problem, because this is what is happening in this area.In 6 years of owning this house, I have never NOT HAD the house booked for July 4th weekend, labor day weekend, Halloween weekend.
