After our talk, I slunk away and immediately deleted the offending diversions in a crazy experiment to see if I would miss them.

My main concerns are lowering/deleting my living expense while investing., so small multifamily (2-4) seems ideal.  

The group reviewed the information and did not approve the profile based on the requirements we have for reviewing profiles.Then I explained I followed all the rules, provided all the necessary info....got this.We declined your profile as we do not approve every profile based on our risk and security reviews.Then I questioned what type of risk there is for a $3 transaction and told them I now have a security risk with them (they have voided check, DL, acct number)...got this.We are responsible for any transactions processed on our system, not just the $3.00.We deleted your property record, bank account, and profile from the system.

If you want an island, delete the peninsula and instead of putting the fridge there, (like in your updated sketch) put the stove there.
