I've dealt with this exact same situation, and ontop of everything I was dealing with the Section 8 housing authority because my tenant was a voucher holder. 

You know those signs that say "we buy houses for cash" call them and say you are investor looking to buy a flip. 

There may be a couple of houses on the block that do not have driveways so this may not be the only one.

Same with FHA. 2/3 house purchase I've made my offer was lower but had conventional financing and was accepted.
