So, in addition to the obvious problem of having education run by a government bureaucracy, we also have a problem of a society that views seemingly unpleasant tasks (like math) as things to be avoided.

Leave it to our all knowing government to spend more of OUR money to help those that are upside down in their mortgage.I believe it was the governments pressure to loosen lending regulations that started this whole underwater mortgage mess!

Many people dont like tenants which are on section 8 or other programs where some government agency pays some portion of their rent.

While government is inefficient, granted, when to hire another rank in file staff member and for what was an ongoing issue.I think that 4K a month might be looked at, especially when providing housing, you need to look at that at a market rate for your expense and deduct about half and consider that as income and all of the utilities if you have seperate meters, I know many here pay thier own utilities, but some are included and include cable.You need to cover off time, maybe after hours on certain days and other aspects to see when they are actually on the job and what that pay should be.

The rent is governed by your lease, during the term of the lease - so they can't just raise the rent duting a valid lease (unless the lease has some clause in it that permits increases - some do allow for adjustments due to increases in taxes, insurance, utilities).The assignment of rents just means that the rents are to go to the bank, and not the landlord, in the event that the mortgage goes unpaid.
