Hi all,My brother and I are starting out in the wonderful world of real estate investing this year!

I am a small contractor who wants to begin flipping houses in my area with my brother and another contractor.

My brothers and I are in Durham NC and are in the multifamily space as well.

I don't qualify personally, but my brother used them.

They just announced a new factory at a site about 500 feet from this Walmart, bringing 245 new jobs* and the land value has risen sharply, according to my Realtor brother, who may or may not be full of ****.

The appreciation is great but doesn't give you options or an escape plan if the property doesn't pan out and that's alot of cash down for no return (negative actually) personally I look for properties that I could do short term rental, buy and hold (BRRRR) or fix and flip.
