Handymen generally (as in never) do not know the code as well as a licensed Contr. The problems are:1) he is working illegally and apparently having no issues with it. 2)You are complicit in this, knowing what you know. 3) The work may be flagged in the future for code infractions 4) You will not get full value upon resale for illegal work. And - 5) By focusing on money only and using an unlicensed scab, you are taking work/money out of the hands of those that made the right choice to get their license and do things legally.

Phillips, Gotha, parts of Ocoee; Seminole actually has more good schools than Orange County, and you can check out Altamonte Springs and Wekiva Springs.Disney also employs over 50,000 people, so Kissimmee, Davenport and to a lesser extent Poinciana are fantastic rental choices as well.

Some vinyl planks also have the "click lock" mechanism and they install just like laminate or engineered wood.Even many high end condos in Manhattan are using vinyl planks now, don't let the term vinyl fool you, some brands are 3 times more expensive than hardwood floor, eg: the AMTICO brand cost about $10 per sq footThere are more affordable ones and look and feel just like natural wood floors, check out Allure vinyl planks on home depot.Something to consider....BTW, I love hardwood floor for the kitchen , so good choice :)
