But from my research, you can not disqualify someone for drugs or alcohol felonies because it is considered a "mental health disorder" You can always find another reason not to rent that doesn't have anything to do with that. :)

i have personally never had that offer when it wasn't to compensate for some sort of red flag, ie: past evictions, felony conviction, sex offender, drug dealer, or prostitution/porn But who knows, there's a first for everything!

I just got one - a father and son (and pregnant fiancee, God help her) duo - with 3 entire pages of  convictions and arrests (repeated offenses) for everything you can think of : burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, felony battery, drug possession, that's not even all of it.
