But to answer your question I think your idea is a little late to the game unless you have some heavy-hitting angel investors who can push you past Zillow and the other top dogs and wait about 10 years for their return :) I'm studying to become an agent, but I am also a web developer that is building an online community for my hometown (like Parkbench, but much better).

It's better to go directly to the government's web site to do the search, because there are a lot of fake "search all public records" sites that will always tell you that they found 387 entries, and then try to charge you to see the results.If you do this, it's also on you to make sure you find the right records - a lot of the public search sites will only let you search by name or address, and not SSN.

Where most of our properties have crappy sideways pics of a toilet taken by a blackberry)I don't want to hire a web person to build a property page for each one as 1) there are too many and 2) We're always buying, selling, changing, etc. so I just want a CRM tool where I can type in the new data and boom, it's done.There are already too many steps to take when I buy a new place.
