Anything you would do differently with your first property?

Hi everyone!

My brother and I are getting over our collective analysis paralysis and ready to jump into long-distance real estate investing. The plan is to get started with multi-family rentals using the BRRRR strategy. Because it's not our local market, we're going to be relying on property managers and agents to help us get our systems in place.

My question is, is there anything you would have done differently with your first deal? Any questions you wished you’d asked, whether of your manager, agent, contractor, etc?

Thanks so much in advance. I feel like I’ve gotten the most incredible education just from browsing these forums and reading about all your experiences. I’m so grateful this community exists!
