I will be returning home with a nice amount of money saved with the intention of investing it, however I will also need to get myself a car for obvious reasons. now my big dilemma is which route I should take to allow me the best start to my investing career, the way I see it these are my options.The numbers I will use are purely an example.Option A: I buy an older car outright for £5000 with no ongoing costs Option B: I pay a small deposit of £2000 on a new car and finance the rest at £300 a month for 48 months, owning the asset at the end.Option C: Lease a car for £350 a month with no upfront payment, and give the car back after 48 months and repeat. 

@Malcolm Cotton I would say make sure it is a C or a B class property, from your numbers it seems to me that it is.

@David B Richardson for sales jobs you typically need a two year track record of consistent income.

@Mike McCarthy sure thing, I was referring to B | C location with A | B unit.I think that we all agree on positive cash flow per unit when the unit is in good location and in good quality.

As we know, we can sell a stock or bond with a mouse click for immediate cash, that’s far from the case with real estate where it can take months longer.Whether the spread of return between 10 year T-Bonds and Class A, B or C properties was enough can only be identified in a case by case basis.

I just got wind that the town had an emergency meeting and have enacted an ordinance banning all hotels, motels, B&B and STVR's as a tactic to prevent the spread of COVID-19. 

These are all a mix of C to B-
