I want to be structured in the best way to take the most advantage over the long term even though I'll just be doing wholesaling by myself here in the beginning (no wife involvement or additional partners at this point).

Get involved, read for forums, listen to the podcasts and dive on in.

I've been reading BP on and off for over a year, I have been learning and involved in RE for half of my life 16+ years, never done wholesaling or mailing or anything 'silly', just what a 'normal' real real estate investor would do.

I would like your input on some things I have just learned.I am a former flipper and landlord and private lender and was wanting to get involved in some more passive ways of investing.  

My original concern was that the TIC with my name on the agreement would put me at risk to creditor/liability issues, should they arise.  

You have much more experience in real estate than myself, as I only have been involved in the purchase of one SFH, the one I live in! 

I'm looking to join or get involved with some serious wholesalers in the Houston Texas area.

Looking to meet other investors in the area and I am eager to get more involved in real estate.

There could be added risks with renting to young adults in college, but those risks extend to any potential tenants.
