New, young, excited real estate investor seaking knowledge

Hello, thanks for looking at my profile.

My name is Carter Cole, I am 25 and currently a Field Engineer working in the Natural Gas industry in Denver, CO. I am doing this with a degree in Civil Engineering.

I am interested in real estate and would like to learn from someone with experience acquiring assets. I would love to interview or shadow anyone with knowledge they are willing to share.

I am a disciplined and passionate individual who would love the opportunity to learn more about the real estate industry.

I grew up watching my dad lose his butt in the 08 crash. While I have tremendous respect for his courage to own his own business he has taught me the importance of preparation. I feel I can best prepare to invest in real estate only by learning first from experienced individuals.

Welcome @Carter Cole. You've come to a good place to learn. There are a lot of new people on the forums, but definitely some heavily experienced folks as well. The next Denver meetup is on Sept 12th if you'd like to meet some locals who are involved in the business. Good on you for researching this first and getting a good baseline of knowledge before jumping in.
