If you have a significant value in 15-year property, let's say $50K, your deprecation expense will increase to $10226.I personally don't think $1500 additional depreciation expense in the first 15 years of ownership and $1500 less depreciation in the remaining 12.5 years will have enough tax impact to justify the $2K - $10K fee you might be charged for a cost-segregation study.
