@Ramon Mota that's unfortunate about what happened, I can imagine how difficult everything has been for you and your family and sorry for your loss.Since you are losing money every month there is really no reason to hold on like you are doing, however, there are probably a few things that you can do prior to doing a fire sale. 

imagine that you could buy a million dollar property with a 5 year loan and the rent would make the payments.

Imagine if you had 50 or 100 units.  

Imagine borrowing against your credit card to make your mortgage payment each month.

Everything imaginable.

My imagined tenants would have no view or human elevator, and I would have to sub-meter the electric and heat as it was installed.

I can't imagine $8K in property taxes.

I imagine that in most cities there are good property managers, just like there are very bad ones (Philadelphia has those also).A property manager has non-stop marketing, overflow of tenants and tenants looking to move from one unit to another.
