I don't think we have talked about that and I am sure with this difference occurring now, we both have different ideas on what the next ten look like.

A great place to start is https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521-events-and-happenings which you can use to find like-minded people in your area.I think house hacking is a great way to get your feet wet in rental investing, especially if you can find a duplex or so and live in one half and rent out the other half.

There’s no cushion for cost-overruns, softening in the market (thus a lower sales price and increased DOM), or any other unexpected hiccups that ALWAYS occur.  

Try to look for events you your area to be able to network.

Having seen people in litigation over an event that happened 7 - 8 years earlier, you never know what your circumstances will be in the future.

@Basit - thanks for the shout out.Bellman,As other folks have suggested, spend some time educating yourself, reading books such as "best apartment syndication book" and "it's a whole new business", listen to podcasts and attend networking events and conferences where operators hang out.

when a lender party to the CFD, or land contract, you have an obligation to deliver the warranty deed to the property at the conclusion of a specific event, such as the payments in the land contract being completed, or a certain amount of equity achieved by the buyer.
