Most of the time, they brought in bad management and then they lost control, and then became despondent, and now they don't have a clue what to do, and thinking about it keeps them up at night, so they just totally shut down all thoughts of it...

My wife and I live in Frisco but we go to church at Gateway.

That investors business has been shut down since then because of numerous lawsuits.

The preliminary work (or "pre-construction") that is required for this project has already begun - such as the re-routing of certain roads, and demolition of buildings (churches) that sit on or near the construction site.Over these past few months, I've been sort-of "canvassing" the area - snapping photos of the area before it begins to change dramatically.

Another way to get students is to reach out to churches that are doing student ministry there.

Usually, a family member, church, or someone pays their rent.

We had to do our 6-plex or have it shut down, no grandfathering & thankfully 18 months to complete as I was 'permitted' to design & install it myself.  

Just being able to shut ones mouth and hear what the other person has to say. 

However I started actively looking and the names start to come (LinkedIn was great as I could search my professional network, RE Networking events, people in your church/school, former bosses, colleagues, friends, neighbors....etc).
