I'm so jealous, so many fun projects I'm seeing happening there.

The journey and education is half the fun.

It was a fun ride, but the corporate drag, not to mention cross-country commute became less than appealing… Thankfully it introduced me to RE.My goal is to begin accumulating small, MF properties.

I have done the job in the past , it wasn't fun..

I also, thought starting with multi family would have been the way to go, but looking at some of the postings it does seem there can be more profit potential, fun, and easier to start with SFRs.

@April Adams, I bet your experience will be just as much fun as a learning experience.May I recommend trying to work for an older investor with a long history of doing what interest you.

I say this because its a fun learning experience and if its vacant you really aren't risking much in terms of causing anyone a hard time over it.Just make sure you have a 21 day inspection period.The other thing too, is look at houses being rehabbed in the area.

Really enjoyed it and still have fun talking with homeowners who are ready to take realistic and meaningful action.

It's a fun toy, but not totally necessary anyways!

It's going to be a lot of fun, a lot of hard work, and some fun obstacles to overcome.
