Being a middleman- Realtor, contractor, ect -and get paid off the "investors" gambling. 

Quaility of living is high, cost is low and we have a very diverse economy that is humming nicely at an unempyment rate that is so low that businesses are recruiting across the state border. 

Owning property all over the US sounds exciting and there are no borders for me.

Being in a border town definitely requires cultural knowledge especially in business situations.

Important to note: This was a big gamble but a very calculated risk.

Detroit sits on an international border and two countries are collaborating on Detroit's growth and emergence as an international destination.AS it relates to having the right team on the ground, that is true, which is where companies like ours come into play.

For example, my county permits 3 unrelated, but bordering counties permit 4.

You made some mistakes when you moved in by not protecting yourself, is it worth your time effort and expense or would you be better off simply accepting lesson learned.Many landlord will gamble the tenant will decide it is not worth the battle and those landlords are usually right.
