I get being drawn to neighborhoods where people want to be; Wash Park, Park Hill, Lo-Hi, Highlands, etc but to your original post, those neighborhoods are prohibitively expensive.What's your current living situation? 

I'm installing a laundry room in a small apartment building.

The only thing I didn't do was new floors and they need to be done - and interior painting (some was done) Oh and had new circuit installed to float mount the new TV for my mother in the family room, pressure washed/cleaned the porch and painted it.......I know I'm missing something but all in all - we did a lot of the important stuff.

The fun part was having to come up with a solution for the laundry room and access to the other house.

My CPA says don’t worry it will balance out by setting the expense against it and it’s a wash.

All this being said I’m not looking for handouts I’d gladly love to meet someone in the Dallas area that’s doing great and discuss and talk about real estate and all I can offer is potentially washing and cleaning your vehicle sounds cheesy but I work as a crane operator for power lines and trying to hopefully one day in the next few years be able to get out of this and pursue real estate full time I’m a fast learner and have a burning passion for helping people achieve success along with my own.

I want to get away from the using the chimney and am thinking of power vent (don't ask why, but let's just say I'm not 100% confident on its ability long term and it's not something that can reasonably be lined).Usage Specifics: Single shared water heater (owner pays for this gas supply separately); 3 units (floors 1 - 3); 8 Bedrooms (3 + 3 + 2); 3 dishwashers; shared laundry in basement.Thanks all!
