Was house hacking in a single family home challenging ?

Some sort of management courses would also be useful RE is not only managing a physical property but tenants, handymen, skilled tradesmen, etc.

Interest rates are just one component of the economy and you have many different macro-economic conditions that impact housing such as job market, inflation, debt loads, lending standards etc. 

Investors, and in particular those that do *not* manage their properties - how do you track your properties?

My other strength is property management.
