I feel blessed that we have had good fortune thus far for the most part and testing the waters with his money (sorry dad) has given me the courage and hunger to start looking into my own real estate endeavors.

Being that I'm in the property management business, I have some trustworthy, knowledgable professionals (in the Charlotte area) at my fingertips that I've used in my day job and am looking to leverage the relationships I've built and utilize them on my investment endeavors.

Remember to collect an earnest money deposit either directly from the buyer or ask them to send it over to your escrow agent.This is a normal workflow for real estate transactions.Hope that helps, best of luck in all your endeavors.
