New Member in East Texas
Hi, my name is Nat, I live in East Texas. In 2005 I bought property that included a 70 year old General Store converted to cafe (7 yr owner finance-paid for with proceeds from running cafe myself), a 1940 Arts and Craftsman bungalow and a 1/1 cabin. I am in the process of selling the land only and am moving the houses and buildings.
In 2011, I purchased 5 commercial acres on the opposite corner and a 2/1 rental house (10 yr loan from bank, house rent pays note). I am moving the old General Store to this property for a retail rental.
In 2012, I purchased 12 commercial acres w/a pond and 12 RV spots (15 yr owner finance, 4 rv spots pay note). Am in the process of adding mobile homes to the park with proceeds from sell of General Store land.
In July 2013, I purchased 2.5 acres that included a nice brick restaurant and brick 4 unit apartment complex (10 yr owner finance). I have remodeled 2 of the apts and rented them and am currently working on the other 2 as well as the restaurant. I will either rent or run the restaurant.
I hope to be of assistance here with any knowledge I've gained, and even more so hope I find info from anyone experienced in areas that will help me in my endeavors.
