Please note I've done some research on these markets (I'm focusing more on the western side of the state), this is just my knowledge/experience as a long-time CT resident. 

Market has been hot in general but there was an article in the paper the other day how building permits and new construction permits have significantly slowed down. 

I do feel that there may very well come a point where that could be an interesting point of discussion with regards to the corporate side of things, such as the 82k units I had mentioned.

If there's a positive side, a housing crash decreases homeownership, pushing people to turn to renting - increasing the supply of potential tenants.

Wanting an agent very in tune with the investment side of things In that area as I want to get into buy and hold real estate.

On the flip side you might have to deal with issues like even shorter-term tenants.

I'm looking for a few good painters to give quotes for painting and also potentially replacing siding.

A contractor is proposing to do the roofing and siding through my insurance, he says it will save me out of pocket money.

Prior to moving into my unit, I did a small $10k remodel (floors, kitchen, paint) and plan to do the same to the other unit at some point to get top dollar for rent on each side when I decide to move out.I am interested in what people would suggest my next move would be.
