Second home/vacation homes are a luxury and I imagine people starting to sell these and take profits and have less interest to buy at these prices/rates, especially if we officially move into a recession.

Connecting with people within your local area will be an awesome start by going to those networking events, talking & building relationships with them in order to lean on when you officially buy & start operating.

@Chris Starling my guess is he is willing to accept vacancy because he thinks it is less cost than an official mold remediation and he can thinks he can find someone else to rent it.  

The framed it as: “we talked with a therapist…and decided to get them”…within 10 days of signing.To be clear: We have no problem with official service animals at all – they’re trained.

I began this journey (officially) with the closing of my duplex a year and a half ago. 

But it's new enough that causes hesitation.I've done significant work on local jurisdictions and, in fact, my SVP of Govt Affairs was the first official I approached.

I'd also recommend checking with local city and county officials or even hiring a legal professional to go over the lease changes.

Then at the end, I could possibly refinance with an official lender, and then the owner could get in second position with his mortgage?
