We will be traveling to Austin this upcoming Friday and will be there for 5 days to check out different neighborhoods and get a feel for things.

I think it has less to do with traffic and more to do with whether people's travel habits have permanently changed or if they will revert back to normal once it is safe to.Right now hotels are getting killed. 

I am wondering if they’re cheaper because less “snowbirds” are able to travel during COVID.

We tend to see those couples opt for a home + basement apartment or mother-in-law that they either Airbnb or rent medium-term to traveling nurses/remote workers. 

We love to travel and have 3 kids and would love take them around they world.

I was not trying to flip, it is across the street from 2 hospitals and I wanted to keep it as a STR for travel nurses.

My husband and I live in Waldo (we are travel ICU nurses so we come and go) and are investors in the KC area.
