I'm a senior at Colonial Highschool and I was wondering if I needed to go to college or just go to a real estate school after highschool to start my career.

I have always had a strong interest in real estate and would like to make the career switch to commercial real estate.

At this early point of my RE investing career, I gravitate towards what I know, and that's single family homes in the $120-150k renting for $1100-1300/mon.  

I'm currently in the education phase here and had an idea that I think is good, but not sure...Hypothetical situation: While in the early stages of my investing career, with little track record to approach private lenders with, having $150k to start with, could it be a good idea to find a $120k property, pay cash, spend $20k on rehab, and sell at $170 ARV as quickly as possible?...

Greetings BP Nation :)To all the seasoned agent-investors,Looking back on your career, what 3 things would you advise a rookie agent to do/be in order to be successful??

After a pretty rough start to my investing career (which probably could have been avoided if I had known about BP), I now own a couple of condos, a house and a guest house all as long term rental properties that are cash flowing positively.   

If you can see steady deal flow and can deploy money to other suitable projects at the time of liquidity syndications may be a better option for you.There are pros and cons.  

At the beginning of our real estate investment careers this can be very frustrating.
