., welcome to BP, you'll find all kinds of information on this site, I would also suggest that you look into the local real estate investment organizations in the area . . . both Northwest REIA and Rarebird are wonderful groups with a lot of experienced investors who willingly share their knowledge.I would definitely consult an accountant on the 1031 exchange option, my understanding is that you will only be able exempt from the capital gains on 1/2 your property.
