There may be some truth to people being a little more financially fiscal in the current climate too, but I haven’t seen much evidence of that in STR’s (yet).#3 This is a good lesson for anyone looking into STR’s though.

Why each time I go there is a massive new residential and commercial buildings, why new hotels, restaurants and more? 

We all know why R.E. companies are hurting lol...the rates are killer...Essentially, we are paying for our sins...shutting down the country, massive government spending & the FEDS QE / cheap money.

I don’t think there’s an issue for people on forums in your example, but more for people selling real estate with the hype of massive returns that could fall under scrutiny. 

I have done this twice  once in 01  where we cashed in our massive equity run up in the SF bay area and went to Kelowna BC for a year Just north of Steves location. 

@Christopher Holt commit to one or another and stay with it until you win, don't expect major results for first 1-2 year (although completely capable of getting major results) Take massive action.  

Even investing in quality furnishing and design can make a massive difference.

For that 2%, I think of the story of Hewlett & Packard who from their humble garage, ran their business as if it was a massive enterprise because they believed one day it would.

I can't believe there isn't a massive lawsuit yet against the government.Account Closed  I thought the same, but re-read it and I think the poster was more expressing surprise that for a state as progressive as California, they've never had a woman as governor or sign a bill into law.

Buying a cheap property is the easy part, everyone wants to sell them for a reason, they are massive headache's.
