I started in Real Estate investing in 2013 when my daughter went to college ( first investment was student rental), i still own that house and several others in the town, not all student rentals. i look at this as my retirement in the near future and my kids inheritance should i ever pass.

Check out the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association, gareia dot com, for local networking and education. 

They spend a lot of time talking about more macro economic events and things that can affect real estate too which is interesting...or maybe boring to some!

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Hey Titus, totally can relate with you being from an expensive real estate market - I moved to Columbus a few years ago (from Portland, Oregon which was super expensive) to become a full time real estate investor, and ever since, I've completed quite a lot of BRRRRs, flips, and own a successful rental portfolio here in Columbus Ohio.

I believe there is a STR real estate regular meetup in the Cape Cod are, but I'll need to ask about where and when it typical is.
