From what I've learned, wholesaling looks to be my best bet for starting off as my funds low.

If you have to LIE, there IS something wrong with your business model.I bet you are smart enough not to fall for the tricks others promote.

Ask any renter in the city if they are betting on rents falling over the next few years.

Plenty of people in the area...your best bet is start going to your local meetups (www.meetup.com) and start connecting with people face to face.Best,David B

There are much safer cities to invest in if you don't have a partner.  

I know quite a few guys who threw away a pile of money betting on this delusion.

I have another friend in the area that is just as charged up about the rei game as you and I and I bet we all could chat for hours.

I have gotten screwed owning property in Dallas because of it.but when you look at these tiles they are flat to the roof I bet they will be pretty darn tough to break.Although on all my new turn keys that I am doing I am putting on Metal roofs for the hail protection and the energy savings my turn key clients will have for their tenants.

SFH in regional markets would probably be a better bet.

I see a fixed rate as a safer play but since I don't have to put any additional money out of pocket with my current financing option I'm thinking I should go ahead and stick with it.I could always refinance later on, right?
