I got into real estate when I rented my house out while I was deployed, I ended up selling for a profit and was hooked. 

I would be happy to be proven wrong on this, should there be good cash flow properties where the numbers check out, but in my research, the margins just aren't there like they are in certain areas of the midwest/south. 

Currently stationed here and prices are through the roof but could be very profitable if you have the capital to break in.Happy Investing!

I am on my third personal residence and I basically moved up by buying the first two cheap and improvising them and selling for profit.

I want to use a majority of the profits to give back to the communities around me.
