Connecting with a professional in the area that has a lot of experience with rental values and prices would be a great first start.Everyone wants to make a killing on their investment property, but a lot of people have to be realistic when they start.

You should talk to your tax professional about writing off a percentage of the home used as an offie.

What we see is that those constraints, while real, are not as big an obstacle as they feel. 

However, I keep feeling that we are missing an opportunity to make money off of this house because of the location it is in.
