Information on Multifamily

Dylan Riley
Posted

Hello everyone.

New to the game, and I’m hoping to find a little direction from experienced investors.

I’m located in South Louisiana. Single family units are more than plentiful in this area so that was my target, however,  since our recent encounters with multiple hurricanes, insurance makes it near impossible to even remotely turn a profit as a landlord.  With that being said, I have shifted my focus to multifamily and apartment complexes outside of our state and/or across the state in hopes of leaving behind the outrageous insurance rates. With that being said, I’d love to have professional input on getting started in the multifamily / apartment real estate world. It seems quite a bit more daunting than single family, but I know it could also be much more rewarding.

Thanks to any and all advice.
