Unfortunately, his massive success keeps him extremely busy, and he hasn't much time to mentor me to the degree I'm seeking.

So if you go through a title company and something gets missed at your closing you have a pretty good chance they will get it corrected without having to file a claim.If you only have an attorney's opinion and something was overlooked, you can seek remediation from E&O insurance. 

If so, that's a bit unusual these days.Also, with interest rates rising, this is a less than optimal time to seek a refinance, credit issues not withstanding.
