We have narrowed it down to two we like.The first home is 1252 sqft, it has a double car garage and has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and is a single storyThe second home is 1642 sqft and is 3 bed 2.5 bath, single car garage, and it is a 2 storyWe will own the lot free and clear after the partition, and the first home is going to cost about 125k to build, turn key.

When the house is vacant, you can put deadbolts on the doors that need a key from both sides.

As an investment I'd only start the process of looking at it if it were bringing in $1100/door in monthly rent.

I thenposted 3 day notice on door and was overnighted the rent money order, with a note saying starting feb 1st, rent will be paid with personal check not money order, as I ahd verbally requested initially, but did not put in lease .Should i take the check, even if it is on time?
