My opinion is to not engage a GC, but rather work directly with any service providers that are needed for certain tasks.

I've also considered forming an S-Corp in PA, as I want to have a self-directed retirement account someday, and it would be easy to max out with the revenue from the PA solar farm.If I had a self-directed account, I would likely do some investing in securities, but most in real estate (likely in NC).

@Farooq K. you could acquire a property and self manage it as a short term rental.

Two nights had been pretty good, but I agree withy Andrew-people taking up all the weekends and all that is left is weekdaysHmm, perhaps you can generate direct bookings through your site and offer two nights as a perk for those who book directly but keep a stricter policy through the OTAs.

I can't recommend any property managers because I self manage right now.A word of advice on Lubbock - I would be cautious of properties that give you 1.5%, they are generally not in good areas.

Its possible the lines you would be near are already at maximum capacity, or that power doesn't flow in the direction you would expect. 

Probably too small for multistory self-storage.

Since I don't know what I don't know wondering if I am spinning my wheels considering approaching the condo board before purchase to find out if they would allow window replacement and if so point me in the direction to get some quick quotes so I could put together an offer.
