My assumption is that houses that run along that line maybe somewhat depressed in value due to the difficulty one would face in using public transportation to get anywhere.

Yes, that is my return because I heat my house with electric and rarely turn on the hvac for heat and I still turn the meter backwards.The best part is I get this return with no tenant, maintenance etc.The comments above show more about the posters political affiliation and difficulty with basic math, neither have anything to do with the reality of solar.
