I was fortunate to have been acquainted with an investor who has took some faith in me.

Fortunately, Ive never had to make a claim on this policy, so that day will tell how good Safeco really is.

I was in negotiations to buy a 8 unit (in an opportunity zone - thats code for "crappier neighborhood, a.k.a "war zone") that would have cost me a fortune in city inspections.... all to have the privilege of partnering with the housing assistance office (more inspections and red tape) to house folks that have zero interest in actually taking any responsibility for MY investment - their home.NO THANKS... there really are better areas for me to place my bets.Im not down on the Lehigh Valley as a whole... but inside the 3 cities that have these repressive policies.... keep you decay and polocies.

I went to a fortune builders 3 day seminar and all the information was interesting but unless I paid the money for the coaching hey don't give you steps to get started.

I think I jumped a little to soon and went out purchased and joined Fortune Builders.

@Ryan MoretYour best bet is to build relationships at local investment clubs and MeetUps.

I recognize that the upside potential is there, but if you go bankrupt mid-way, you haven't gained anything at all.I was very fortunate.  

I've worked for a few Fortune 500 companies, it's incredibly tech savvy, in my opinion, we have a good state governor in John Kasich, and the rental/real estate market is screaming hot.That said, I'm burnt out on the weather (the opposite of a pun intended).
