I just googled "Sold Properties Near Me" and realtor.com allowed me to view recently sold properties in the Houston market. 

Some people will book weekends in April even if they "wanna get away" somewhere that isn't a casino and can take strolls along the beach, weather permitting. 

For context im purchasing a primary residence as a future rental in the south houston area which flooding can be an issue.

@Nawal Osman  I would say Arapaho is a very tiny town and not normally on most investors radar.Focus on areas of growth....Texas might be better...the bigger cities around DFW, Houston, San Antonio.Austin is super expensive right now.Also some of the mid-size cities in between this triangle.

We have 73 units outside of Houston, TX. 

As far as location, Houston may be a good market for you.
